David was named after his great-grandfather, (John David Snow), and his grandfather, (DeLaine D. Townsend). David DeLaine Snow was raised in the religious group called Jehovah's Witnesses, (1969-82). In the summer of 1981 he met the sister of a friend, fell in love and then married Alice Smith; he later converted to the Southern Baptist denomination. July 22, 1982 David and Alice moved to Corpus Christi, Texas; his wife's hometown. On July 12, 1987 he was licensed as a Lay Baptist minister. Soon after acquiring his GED in '87 David began attending Del Mar Community College, and Howard Payne's seminary extension. David served as a Chaplain's Assistant in the Texas Army National Guard, (2nd/ 144st Inf; and 386th Eng Bn.), from 1990-98. After many disheartening encounters, David became disinterested with organized religion and soon began to follow a Neo-Pagan (Wiccan) path. In 2002 he and his wife moved to Dallas, Texas; after five years they moved north to the Lewisville community. By 2013 David returned to a faith in Jesus as the Christ.
For several years David Snow worked in the State School institutions, (19 years as of this writing); assisting individuals with profound intellectual and physical disabilities, as a direct care staff, then later as a supervisor of a Life Skills workshop area.
David and Alice Snow were the parents of one child, a daughter named:
