Elizabeth Garza (nee Snow)

Elizabeth had no siblings.

Mother: Alice Snow

        Elizabeth Rebecca was named after her mother’s mother: Elizabeth “Betty Sue” Scott; and after one of father’s ancestral great grandmothers: Rebecca Browne.  For a time she went by her nickname of “Liz”.  Elizabeth graduated from Roy Miller High School of Corpus Christi, Texas.   She married James Garza after she moved to Dallas, in an effort to be closer to her parents, who moved there in 2002.  “Liz” worked in the public, as well for the State, caring for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.  She later reveled in being a “stay-at-home-mom”.  James and Elizabeth Garza had the following three children:

James has two siblings:
a brother: Christopher Brian Garza
a sister: Michelle Ivanna Garza
      
        James was briefly raised and baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses but later discontinued his association with the religious group.   While working at Hollywood Video Store, in Dallas, Texas James Garza met, fell in love, and later married “Liz” Snow.  She had been raised as a Southern Baptist, but later held no interest in religious issues.  James worked for a while as a semi-truck salesman, and for a year was employed with the State caring for Intellectually Disabled individuals at the Denton ‘State School’; his wife had been working there as well.   Elizabeth left the workforce and became a ‘stay-at-home-mom’ and for a while even Home-schooled their eldest daughter.  James later resumed working as a salesman.  He and his wife currently reside in Dallas, Texas.   James and Elizabeth Garza were the parents of the following three children:

        1.) Savannah Alise Garza
        3.) Ember Maria Garza

The Grand Kids

       
                       
 1.) Savannah Alise Garza
             Savannah was Home Schooled for a year to encourage better learning skills in public school, at which she excelled upon her return.


                                           

        2.) Jamison “Jay” DeLane Garza
              After initially having difficulty in school, Jamison later excelled in his studies; and even displayed great creative problem-solving skills with Lego building.

                                          
                                                                                   










  3.) Ember Maria Garza
              Early in life Ember showed she was a quick learner.
